About the event

COLLABORATE is an open space for QTBIPOC and BIPOC founders to disrupt isolation, give ourselves permission to center joy, and learn from other dope people. During COLLABORATE we will engage in embodiment practice, use Open Space format for people to choose from three rooms - PLAY, SHARE, WORK- and then gather to reflect and integrate. You will have a solid 90 Minutes of time in connection with others!

You are appropriate for COLLABORATE if you have lived experience as:

  • FOUNDER: A founder is someone who has taken a project, artistic piece, business idea, healing offering from idea to launching it into the world.

  • QTBIPOC/BIPOC- Although not a perfect term these represent people who have cultural experiences as Black, Indigenous, Latine, Asian/Pacific Islander, DESI, MENASA, or other wise non-white. We highlight inviting those is the Queer/Trans spectrum (QTBIPOC) to signal a place of affirming founders outside of heteronormativity.

What is Octavia’s Garden? Octavia's Garden is a growing community of practice for BIPOC and QTBIPOC founders, creators, and initiators to build their capacity in healing justice, leadership, and solidarity economies. We are people who work with land, arts, emotional health, diverse capital, spirituality, and are building a new world rooted in freedom. If you would like to learn more about becoming a member of Octavia’s Garden, please book an Exploratory Call here.
